Registration information
Thursday, 17 October 2024 - Savoy Place, London

Our 2024 rice symposium, to be held in London on 17 October, is now open for registration. The meeting, held every two years, is the leading event for the rice sector. We are delivering the symposium in conjunction with USA Rice, drawing in influential speakers and delegates form the United Kingdom (UK) and overseas. It is a great opportunity to network and exchange ideas.

Rice is one of the world's major food grains, meaning that rice market developments are closely followed by governments as well as businesses. It is also a source of sustenance, pleasure, and enjoyment for hundreds of millions of people across the globe.

In this one-day event we are looking to touch on the key factors shaping the industry in the long term, including: climate change, trade negotiations, and codes of practice. These are all in the context of supplying food made to the highest standards that meet changing customer demands.

The rice symposium will be a great place to learn more about the factors driving our industry in the UK, to network and exchange ideas. Confirmed speakers include Kevin Glover, chair of USA Rice; agricultural economist, Graham Brookes; and Dr Werner Nader from Eurofins Ajal.
